Sleep to Slow Aging

Undergo a night of sleeplessness or burn the midnight oils straight into those early hours and you’ll likely feel and see symptoms of sleep deprivation the next morning. Dark circles underneath the eyes and paleness to the skin can undoubtedly make anyone seem worn-out and old. Replicate this cycle every night, and this long-term sleep deprivation will inevitably break down your body, and age you.

Many do not enjoy adequate sleep, which plays a major part in our perceived appearance. Those who get significantly less than six hours of sleep per night could be more susceptible to viral infections, heart problems, stroke and obesity, with a linked deterioration in mental functionality.

If not receiving enough sleep is a result of your wanting to get more done every day, consider the time you throw away as a result of exhaustion interfering with your effectiveness. Fix your mindset, your daily practices, and commence finding out how to make sleep your friend. Work toward getting at least 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep each night.
